Benefits of solar power

Hello ! please visit my blog  Benefits of solar power     • The researchers found that producing electricity from solar cells reduces air polutants about 90% in comparison to using conventional fossil fuel  in Technologies .    •There is Virtually no operating / maintenance costs once the equipment has been installed.    •There is an inexhaustible supply of power from the Sun .    •you can install an entire rooftop solar array or just a few solar cells for backward lighting.    •converting solar power does not create any emission it does not add  any pollution to the environment .

Earth Moon system

please visit my blog Earth Moon system Gravitational attraction  pulls the earth and moon towards each other .While centrifugal force acting in the opposite direction keep them apart .If the Earth and the Moon were of the same size the centre of the revolution of the system would be located midway between them .But because the moon is only about 1/82 the mass of the earth therefore the centre of revolution of the earth moon system is located nearer the earth about 4700km from  earth centre . The centrifugal force is the same for a unit mass at any point on the earth surface but the gravitational attraction  varies according to the distance of the unit mass from the Moon . There is thus a net force directed towards the moon at the point on the earth's surface closest to the moon and a net force direct away from the Moon at the point on the earth surface  farthest from the moon. Therefore the moon's  gravitational sexy screen attraction is...

Remote Sensing

Remote Sensing    Remote Sensing is defined as the sum total of the process used to acquire and measure the information about the objects and phenomena by a recording device sensor which is not in physical contact with the objects and phenomena in study. Thus Remote sensing involves an object surface the recording device and the energy waves. The term Remote Sensing was first used in early 1960s.     A sensor is a device that  gathers electromagnetic radiations convert it into a single and  present it in a form suitable for obtaining information about the object under investigation .

Composition of Atmosphere

Composition of Atmosphere     The earth's atmosphere consists of a mixture, of various gases  water vapour and dust particles , surrounding   the earth up to approximately 10000km approaching the diameter of earth approaching the diameter of earth itself . These are as follows •Permanent Gases of the Atmosphere  constituent     -      percentage by volume Nitrogen                   78.08 Oxygen                      20.95 Argon                          0.93 Carbon dioxide         0.030 neon                            0.002 Helim                         0.0005 ...

Petroleum

please visit my blog Petroleum      Petroleum is an inflammable mixture of oily hydrocarbons with very complex properties  .Three grades of card oil  are paraffin base oil ,naphthemic base oil Asphalt Base oil.    The name petroleum is derived from latin word 'petra' means 'Rock 'and 'Oleum ' means 'oil '.petroleum is formed due to decomposition of micro-organisms which got buried under the sea over millions of years ago .Dead marine micro-organisms got buried under sand  and the effects of pressure ,heat and bacteria got them convert into oily liquids .The decomposition took place in the  absence of air of oxygen.    petroleum wells are generally found under the sea surface .petroleum wells occur between layers on non porous impervious rocks 50% of Reserve of the Mineral oil are found in 4 middle.East countries Saudi Arabia ,Kuwait Iran and Iraq .   major petroleum producing centre  •USA Appalachian r...

COAL

coal            coal is a solid that mineral made up of carbon hydrogen Oxygen and nitrogen in verying proportions.      coal is a fossil fuel and is the altered remains  remains of Prehistoric vegetation that originally accumulated in swamps and peat bogs.under conditions favourable to interrupt, preventing  the release of the stored solar energy . The energy is locked into the coal.  coal formation began during the carboniferous period known as the first coal age  switch snapped 360 million to 290 million years ago .
